MHA provides a full range of property management and resident services to its MHA-owned residential communities in Fairfield County.   MHA currently manages over 340 affordable residential units in Bridgeport, Norwalk, and Stamford including housing for families, supportive housing, and soon housing for seniors at MHA’s newest community, Huntington Place  in Trumbull.   Services include tax credit certification, property maintenance, accounting, and emergency response. 

MHA’s property management is integrated with the organization’s mission of resident empowerment. MHA’s Resident Services involve residents in the operation of each Mutual Housing community and provide assistance in accessing other social and support services. MHA also encourages residents to prepare for homeownership.  This focus on homeownership reflects MHA’s mission as a stepping-stone to the American Dream. It is our hope that every Mutual Housing resident will have as their goal to be a homeowner and  MHA will provide all the tools – homebuyer education, financing, and affordable homes – to help them achieve that American Dream of homeownership in Fairfield County.
