Mutual Housing Association of Southwestern Connecticut, Inc. (MHA)
and The Shore Area Community Development Corporation (SACDC)
announces that it will be taking reservations for the purchase of
condominium homes at its newest development - William Street
Condominiums. William Street Condominiums, Bridgeport's newest
affordable condominium community, is located at the corner of
William and East Washington Streets in Bridgeport, Connecticut
Convenient to shopping, recreation, transportation, and Bridgeport's
central business district William Street Condominiums is the perfect
place to take advantage of a reviving community.
William Street Condominiums offer 14 one, two and
three-bedroom units - approximately 582 to 1,297 square feet. Buyers
can choose from their choice of 6 spacious floor plans with
wall-to-wall carpeting, fully equipped eat in kitchens, tiled baths,
energy efficient gas heat, washer and dryers and ample storage
space.
William
Street Condominiums are
designed especially for first-time homebuyers and to be affordable
to low and moderate-income families. Some units will be reserved for
households with income up- to 60% of the area median income for the
Bridgeport Metropolitan area (currently $45,120 for a family of
four). While price resale restrictions will apply, these
restrictions are balanced to help new homeowners build equity while
keeping units permanently affordable for future generations of

Construction on the first phase of eight (8)
units
is expected to be completed by
May, with the first units available in June of 2003. Special
mortgage programs will be available through People's Bank, Citibank,
and other participating lenders.
