Mutual Housing Association of Southwestern Connecticut (MHA) is a
nationally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and one of
Fairfield County's most active developers of quality, affordable
housing. Founded in 1990, MHA is recognized for building affordable
housing and expanding opportunities for families who find it
increasingly difficult to find housing they can afford. MHA offers a comprehensive range of homeownership
programs and services and a -supportive network to help you become a

The Shore Area Community
Development Corporation (SACDC) is a branch of the Central
Connecticut Coast YMCA (CCC YMCA). Incorporated in 1994, the purpose of
the SACDC is to improve the lives of individuals and families by
insuring affordable quality housing; by improving the social and
economic stability of neighborhoods and by expanding locally based
community development efforts. Essentially SACDC has acted as the
development arm of the CCC YMCA by enhancing the progress and general
welfare of the regions served by the YMCA. SACDC has assisted in the
development of 381 affordable and supportive service housing projects in
the City of Bridgeport and New Haven.
